Hello guys , I hope you'll enjoy now a time and as same as all programmers are enjoying there holidays at lockdown in India . So as they created the Indian super app called as Elyments, as its beginning its too cool.

The app essentially takes the popular features from various social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and the likes and combines them to offer an all-in-one platform for people to engage with each other. And it doesn’t shy away from admitting where it took its inspiration from.There's no web version of the app, yet.

WHY IS ELYMENTS CALLED A SUPER APP?
The app is divided into three main sections — Hub, Social and Chat.The Hub offers curated news content. You can get a fix of content based on themes like health and lifestyle, fashion, or sports. You can even small games here on the hub. The second section is social, which wasn’t working as it should as of writing the article. But based on the headings, there will be a feed, dedicated to the content shared by your friends, and a ‘Discover’ section which we’re guessing will surface content that has gone viral. The chat section is where you can see friends who are online, and chat with them, and even make audio calls.
Using the app, provided there are enough people on the platform, one can easily garner friends and followers, like in the early days of Facebook. You need a phone number to create an account.
But this is not where the buck stops. While Elyments seemingly begins its journey as a Facebook-clone, it harbours an ambition to become India’s WeChat by integrating more elements into the app. At the launch, the Elyments team said they also plan to add more features in the coming weeks. This includes secure payments, video calls, public profiles and also a curated commerce platform.
HOW SOUND IS ELYMENT’S PRIVACY POLICY?
On its Twitter feed, Elyments claims ‘hardware-based encryption technology’ with the data being stored within Indian shores. The app also has a bunch of privacy settings where you can tweak who can see your content and personal info.
However, the privacy policy of the app clearly states it collects personal information like date of birth, email address, contacts stored in your phone, professional and educational data, preferences and interest-related data and more. This includes personal data shared voluntarily by the user as well as those that are collected in the background. Among other things, the data is also shared with third parties who may provide services on the app in a revenue-sharing model.
However, the privacy policy also states Elyments has strict contracts in place with third parties to prevent them from using the personal data outside of the domain both parties have agreed upon.
Aiming to urge the Indians to adopt the "Aatma Nirbhar Bharat" campaign and help transform local India into a global India, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has unveiled Elyments social media app in a virtual launch that is looking to rival social networking giant Facebook and Facebook-owned messaging platform WhatsApp. The home-grown Elyments has been developed keeping in mind the Indian social media users and is available in 10 languages, including eight regional languages.
“It is aimed at giving a new boost, a quantum jump to the economic potential of the country by strengthening infrastructure, using modern technologies, enriching human resources, and creating robust supply chains,” Naidu had said during the virtual launch of the app.
The app's description on the official Google Play Store read: "Elyments is a comprehensive social networking app that is literally a one-stop-app for everything you might need. Connect and converse with friends, share updates, network with like-minded people, discover interests, make seamless voice and video calls, and much more with Elyments." The app is also available on Apple App Store.
Elyments super app which is looking to rival Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook has data privacy as its main USP. User data security has been an issue with many foreign as well as home-grown applications, but Elyments’ creators -- Sumeru Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. claims that user data would not be shared without their consent.
According to the app makers, they have given a lot of importance to privacy and that all the servers are hosted within the country.
Within 24 hours of its launch, the home-grown app saw over a million downloads.
The home-grown app has taken a cue from social networking giant Facebook and included features such as feeds, discover option as well as alerts which lets one track friend requests and activities such as likes, comments on their posts.....READ FULL BLOG
There are many things that I think a good social meadia site have inside it.....
they can be many things which anybody has to notice in it well and inside that we just notice in this app by testing it . Although our helpers and testers are ARPAN SAHU, CHETAN KUSHWAHA , ABHINAV SAHU so as they have tested the applications there are both good things and bad things that we have noticed in it........
As per Good things are actually good so we tell it first...
MERITS IN ELYMENTS -
- As per the Appliction the interface is very smooth and strong, as it looks in a classy cool pink theme
- The icon which denotes message send,read and delivered is very beautiful and innovative somtimes peoples like some new things in there life
- video calling as we tested in the 7 days meantime is really stromgs as compared to other social media sites like Insta,Google Duo,Whatsapp,Hike, and much more
- The feed is too good and in the HUB mode you can visit several good sites inside the applicaion without opening your browser
- All servers are belonged to India only so the data leak and data of Indians are encrypted and safe also
- For making application more interesting developers add some cool games inside the application
- end to end encryption is available so that the messages send from one device to another is too much safe and hackers have very hard to Breach
DEMERITS OF/IN ELYMENTS -
- No other themes are available other than pink color ,this can be hated by many users, However anybody can change background easily insight the chat box
- No #HASHTAGS are available so its not good for such a great social media site to absent this great feature in such a modern time
- Many peoples love to like anybody's pic by double tapping in Instagram ,but not such gestures are present in the whole application
- Since its a newly Application it consumes a a lot of time to load a single option, sometimes consumer don't have a good internet connection so it takes almost a minute or half to refresh
- The privacy is too much that anybody cant even see profile pic is not visible untill the accepted your request, this feature can make the application not worthy and shall not likable by the users
- if you are finding anybody in search by his username so you cant search his username easily by typing it , you also have to add @ , if you wont it deos not search the person
- There is no web version is available in the application so it is hard to use in many platforms like Linux , Microsoft , Java , Mac os
